🔥 ChatGPT Tips Tuesday #9: Let's get creative
ChatGPT could be creative as well. Just ensure you have the right prompt.
💡 ChatGPT Tips for the day
ChatGPT is not limited by responses in written words. It can generate creative reponses like word arts as well.
Thanks to all the people who voted in the last issue. By popular demand, I am going to talk about getting some creative responses from ChatGPT.
Watch out Midjourney, ChatGPT can do creative stuff as well 😆
For this issue, I will go with the 3 different types of responses that I hope could make your life more creative. The topic I will be using across this issue’s examples would also be unicorn related. 🦄
ASCII arts
ASCII arts use the 95 printable ASCII characters to generate images. As an example, here is one:
If you do a simple Google browse, you would see more examples and the level of detail could vary a lot.
One thing I want to point out is that the ASCII art generated from ChatGPT varies from time to time. So you might want to try a few different prompts to test and see if it can get something closer to what you want.
Example

Try this in your next prompt
As a talented ASCII artist, create [object] in ASCII Art
Kaomoji / 顔文字
If you are born in the late 80s or early 90s, you might find this style quite familiar.
Kaomoji got quite popular initially in Japan. It uses Japanese characters, and punctuation to express some sort of expressions. Basically, they are like “early emojis”.
Example

Too bad I didn’t get to see a unicorn from this. But I must say the cats are looking pretty good.
Try this in your next prompt
As a talented Kaomoji artist, create [object] in Kaomoji
Emojis
You guess it right. ChatGPT can do emojis in response as well.
If you have seen my weekly news issue, you might have noticed those emojis I used for the quiz section. All those generations come from ChatGPT.
Example

Try this in your next prompt
Describe [object, e.g. book, movie, etc] in [a number] emojis
Alright, those are some creative response types I have found so far. I know there must be more of these out there. If you spot any, feel free to drop me a message at [email protected] or hit me up on my Twitter @AnInquisitiveMd.
🎧 What topic would you like me to discuss in the next issue of ChatGPT Tips Tuesday? Please choose the topic you would like to hear and I will try to write it in the next issue. I look forward to hearing your thought. |
🔤 Word of the day
Supervised learning
n. is a type of machine learning, which is a way of teaching computers to do certain tasks.
Let's say you have a big box of various fruits, and you want a machine to learn to identify each one correctly. Here's how it might work with supervised learning:
You show the machine a picture of an apple, and you tell it, "This is an apple."
Then you show it a picture of a banana and say, "This is a banana."
You keep doing this with different fruits until you've covered all the fruits in your box.
You've just provided the machine with 'labelled' data - that's what the fruits with names are. You 'supervised' the machine's learning by telling it what each fruit is.
Now comes the test. You mix up all the fruit pictures, and then you show the machine a random fruit picture from the mix. If the machine can correctly identify the fruit - "This is an apple", "This is a banana", and so on - then your supervised learning process has been successful.
So in a nutshell, supervised learning is about teaching machines by example, just like how we might teach a child to identify animals by showing them pictures of different animals and telling them what each one is.
