🔥 ChatGPT Tips Tuesday #6: Get it Right!

The power of a simple confirmation with ChatGPT

💡 ChatGPT Tips for the day

Simply asking ChatGPT if the response it has provided is correct is good enough to nudge ChatGPT towards giving you the right answer.

Thanks to all the people who voted in the last issue. By popular demand, I am going to talk about tips when you have a very long prompt text to ChatGPT.

In ChatGPT Tips issue #2, I’ve shared about sharing the error message you received for your ChatGPT-generated code back to ChatGPT for correction. However, I later discovered there is an even quicker way to do this with less effort from your end. And, that is simply to ask ChatGPT if the previous answer is right or not.

Don’t believe me? Let’s see the example below:

To be honest, it did take me a while to get an answer that is wrong from ChatGPT in the first place. However, just in case you wonder if the answer from ChatGPT is wrong, ask that question.

Even if the answer is correct in the first place, ChatGPT would still nicely explain how it arrives at the initial answer 👇️

Try this in your next prompt

You: [Your prompt]

ChatGPT: [Response from ChatGPT]

You: Are you sure you are right?

🔤 Word of the day

Word embeddings

n. a word embedding is a representation of a word. The embedding is used in text analysis. Typically, the representation is a real-valued vector that encodes the meaning of the word in such a way that words that are closer in the vector space are expected to be similar in meaning.

To explore further about this, check this page on Wikipedia

Also, I have found this great tool to explore how visually the embedding looks like: https://projector.tensorflow.org/

Well, we know ChatGPT makes mistakes, but this is a bit unnecessary 🤣

P.S. Is anybody else also thinking about Bart copying the same sentence in the opening of The Simpsons?
