🔥 ChatGPT Tips Tuesday #15: Create something catchy for me!
ChatGPT is awesome at generating catchphrases, just make sure how you ask for it.
đź’ˇ ChatGPT Tips for the day
Generating catchphrase ideas is a great use case of ChatGPT. It could be a good timer for you.
If you have a ChatGPT Plus account, you might have seen the pop-up from OpenAI regarding disabling the web browsing plugin with Bing. Here is a quick announcement from OpenAI
We've learned that ChatGPT's "Browse" beta can occasionally display content in ways we don't want, e.g. if a user specifically asks for a URL's full text, it may inadvertently fulfill this request. We are disabling Browse while we fix this—want to do right by content owners.

Let’s hope the browsing plunging could be back soon 🙏
For today, I will go through using ChatGPT as a catchphrase generator given that is the most-voted concept from last week’s poll.
There is no particular trick to this, just a great prompt would do the job.
Let’s say you have been tasked to work on the website of a leading brand of camera producers. As part of this task, you might get asked about creating a good catchphrase to be used in the hero section of the website.
Normally, you would spend quite some time thinking about different ideas to see what sticks. To save you from spending too much time on this, ChatGPT could come to the rescue.
Here is the prompt I have used for this “catchphrase generator” in this particular case:
Act as a talented marketing expert who is specialised in creating creative catchphrases, create 10 examples of catchphrases with 5 words or less that contain the keyword "camera" or concepts related to the keyword
In seconds, I would be able to get 10 great examples I can use:

I am not a professional marketer myself but I think some of those are pretty good. If you want to see more, you can always just ask ChatGPT for “10 more”.
I have also tested with GPT-3.5 to see the results, check them below 👇️

Not too bad as well, although I do find the results from GPT-3.5 to be a bit longer. I would still prefer the ones from GPT-4 in this case.
Try this in your next prompt
Act as a talented marketing expert who is specialised in creating creative catchphrases, create 10 examples of catchphrases with [word count] words or less that contain the keyword "[keyword]" or concepts related to the keyword

🔤 Word of the day
Turing Test
n. is a measure of a machine's ability to exhibit intelligent behaviour, named after the mathematician and computer scientist Alan Turing.
Here's a simple way to understand it:
Imagine you're texting with two friends, but you can't see who is sending which message. One friend is actually a human, and the other is a computer. If you can't consistently tell which one is the human and which one is the machine based on their responses, then the machine is said to have passed the Turing Test.
The main idea is that if a machine can carry on a conversation that's indistinguishable from a conversation with a human, then it has shown a kind of "intelligence." However, it's important to note that passing the Turing Test doesn't mean the machine understands the conversation like a human would, it just means it's really good at mimicking human-like conversation.
For further understanding of this concept, feel free to check this Wikipedia page.
