🖌️ AI Art Tips Thursday #25: From sketch to image
Turning sketch to image help you generate the image of your dream in seconds with Midjourney.
💡 AI Art Tips for the Day
Based on popular demand from last week’s poll, I will try to use ChatGPT to turn a pen-and-paper sketch into an image.
Drawing a sketch is easy, but turning that into an awesome drawing is hard. Why not leverage Midjourney to do the hard work?
So, how can I use midjourney to do it? Just follow these 3 steps:
Upload your sketch to Discord to get a link
Put the link and a description of the image in the /imagine prompt
See the magical creation from midjourney
Don’t believe me? See the following results I have got:

From the above test, you can see that midjourney would still need some description to understand the sketch. The results could be vague if you just supply the links with a simple photo or painting prompt. With a proper description, you could see the results are much closer to what I was sketching and the composition aligned quite well too.
So yeah, I personally think this is a good use case of midjourney. I hope you have a sketch in mind to test this use case as well.
P.S. I am actually curious why both of the examples with photo or painting would end up with having a female in them 🤔

What a great view! I wish I was on that boat now 😆

Prompt: a photo of a boat on a river where a couple of mountains are also quite close
That is it for the day!
Until I see you next time, stay awesome my friend!
